Winslow Junction Produce

Our story began with owner’s Guy and John’s great grandfather Gaetano Matro, who migrated from southern Italy to Winslow Township, NJ, and founded Matro Family Farms, a small blackberry farm (11 acres).

Over five generations (James Matro expanded to 130 acres, Gaetano James Matro expanded to 300 acres, and Guy and John expanded to over 750) , we expanded to grow a diverse range of crops.

Today, under our new brand Winslow Junction Produce, we've honed our focus to three main crops: Blueberries, Blackberries, and Sweet Potatoes. With over 750 acres of farmable land, we've also built a robust infrastructure, boasting over 1000 pallet spaces of cold storage and state-of-the-art repacking equipment, capable of repacking citrus, sweet potatoes, and blueberries.

The fifth generation, John and Tony Matro, actively participate in every facet of our business, ensuring our commitment to grow, store, and repack top-quality produce.
